What will you be doing? Secrets in the kitchen? We don't believe in that at Chef's! Food & Drinks. As an Independent Working Chef, you literally give the guest a glimpse in our open kitchen by sharing your secrets. Because who knows better what is really tasty? As an Independent Working Chef at Chef's! Food & Drinks, you always work with fresh and local ingredients, and that makes you happy. You talk passionately about our products and preparation methods when our guests ask about them. Trying new combinations, that makes you enthusiastic! You are proactive and creative, and think along with us about improving our products. The position can be filled both part-time and full-time   Who are we? The Babylon Hotel Den Haag is an icon at The Hague Central Station since 1978 and is part of Leonardo Hotels. Centrally located, with a fantastic view and, of course, all the famous attractions within easy reach. The hotel has 143 rooms and several special meeting rooms. On the first floor of the hotel, you will find our bar and restaurant "The Livingroom", where we delight our guests.     As Leonardo Hotels Benelux, we are within the large Leonardo Hotels Group, responsible for all activities for the 28 hotels in the Netherlands and Belgium. • You have a chef's degree or have worked in a similar position for at least 2 years.
• You have experience in manning multiple parties
• You are energetic, cheerful and HOSPITAL! For you, hospitality means going that extra mile.
• You have knowledge of HACCP
• You love food and enjoy talking about exciting food and drink combinations.
• You have a hands-on mentality and are a born team player.
• In addition, you are flexible and available on weekends and holidays, and you live in (near) Papendrecht. You have your own transportation
• You are flexible with regards to working hours and tasks.
• You have knowledge of products/ingredients, calculations and menu card.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English. Do you also speak (some) French, German, or Spanish? Even better!
• You live in the Den Haag region.
