Engineer – Amstel HotelAre you the go-to person when it comes to technical solutions? Do you enjoy working in a historic five-star environment? Then this could be your next challenge! The Amstel Hotel is looking for a skilled and hands-on Engineer to keep our hotel running smoothly. If you thrive on solving technical issues and ensuring everything is in top condition, we'd love to meet you!What is the role?

• Keep Everything Running: Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in equipment and installations.
• Repair & Maintain: Perform both simple and preventive maintenance work throughout the hotel, including minor painting and repair tasks.
• Manage Supplies: Place orders for technical department parts and materials as needed.
• Support Technical Projects: Assist in executing technical projects related to the hotel's operations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and external parties to ensure smooth operations.

 Your profile:

• Technical Mindset: Hands-on experience in maintenance or engineering.
• Proactive & Problem-Solving: You enjoy finding quick and effective solutions.
• Strong Communication Skills: You can communicate clearly and effectively in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Team-Oriented: Works well in a team while also taking initiative independently.
• Flexible Availability: Able to be on-site within 30 minutes for emergency service disruptions (future discussion), open to occasional weekend work and a 24/7 breakdown service rotation.
• Working Hours: Shifts are on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:00 / 09:00 – 17:00 or 10:00 /18:00
